Salawat: A Deed That Saves at the Last Moment

Hawzah News Agency- The Messenger of Allah (pbuh and his family) said:

أَنَا عِنْدَ الْمِيزَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ،فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ سَيِّئَاتُهُ عَلَى حَسَنَاتِهِ، جِئْتُ بِالصَّلَاةِ عَلَيَّ حَتَّى أُثَقِّلَ بِهَا حَسَنَاتِهِ.

I will be present at the Scale on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever’s evil deeds outweigh his good deeds, I will bring forth the blessings (salawat) sent upon me until, through them, his good deeds become heavier.
